Job Profile: Captain Wind Farm of the Coast

When operating as a CTV Captain, Captain jobs offshore wind farm USA, You will be in-charge of our MAN ED2862 engine, Hamilton waterjet driven, Twin hulled catamarans. This role is a key part of delivering safe, high-quality marine operations to enable offshore wind projects.

Description – Captain Job for Offshore Wind Farm Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV)

Atlantic Wind Transfers in the leading Offshore Wind support company and is seeking a full time Captain for a Crew Transfer Vessel ( CTV ) based in Norfolk VA. You will be responsible for piloting high-speed waterjet catamarans to and from offshore wind farms to transfer technicians. USCG 100 GRT Master’s License, radar experience, mechanical abilities, and crew management skills are needed for the position.

Responsibilities:

Run and manage the day to day operation of the CTV ( Crew Transfer Vessel ).

Safety, security and Safeguarding standards of the sea

Maintain vessels and equipment and supervise mechanical systems.

Supervise and lead on board crew and day-to-day operations

Perform operations as per company and USCG directives

Act as primary liaison with shoreside operations

Required Qualifications for Wind farm vessel Jobs in Virginia:

USCG 100 GRT Master’s License

Radar Observer Unlimited Certification

FA/CPR/AED Certification

Experience operating waterjet-powered high-speed catamarans

Skilled in Radar and Ship, and navigational system operations

STCW Basic (preferred)

Mechanical ability (keeping the boat in check on a daily basis, etc.)

Virginia residency required (no housing will be provided)

Salary: Starting at $65,000 a year (depending on experience)

Shift: 12-hour shifts
