Green Energy Analyst Position, USA—Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve the performance of renewable energy assets.
  • Develop tools and data models to track key operational metrics.
  • Build data pipelines in Python and SQL using Databricks.
  • Design Power BI dashboards and Excel templates to automate reporting.
  • Validate Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and calculate lost revenue due to downtime.
  • Collaborate with data, finance, and operations teams to optimize reporting accuracy.
  • Leverage Azure DevOps, Git, and statistical models to streamline performance management.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement culture through digital innovation and data optimization.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, economics, computer science, or mathematics, plus 1 year of experience in the energy sector.
  • OR a bachelor’s degree + 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with Python, SQL, R, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Understanding of U.S. electricity markets, economic models, and statistical methods.
  • Experience in asset performance monitoring and version control tools like Git.
  • Up to 10% travel (domestic or international) required.
