What You’ll Do For A Transmission Specialist Jobs

As a transmission specialist offshore, you will have a focal role in the commissioning, maintaining and “faultfinding” of HV and LV substation systems. You will also ensure all safety arrangements are in accordance with Ørsted Electrical Safety Rules (ØESR).

Key Responsibilities

• Give electrical safety switching and isolation

• Conduct programmed and unscheduled substation servicing duties

• Diagnose alarms through the use of SCADA systems

• Support throughout wind farms for HV transmission systems

• Manage on contract contractors and offshore safety operations

What You Need to Succeed For Offshore Wind Jobs

We want to add such talented people to their team who have a minimum of five years experience in electrical systems. Applicants will be HV qualified to safety rules or be prepared to be qualified under ØESR.

• Extensive experience in high voltage electrical work

What is Ørsted’s recruitment process like?

Our current recruitment process involves a initial applications screening, then technical leads and HR interviews. Do I have to have offshore wind experience to apply?

Not necessarily. Offshore wind experience is a plus but we consider applicants from a high-voltage or utility realm a preferred work history.
