Responsibilities For Wind Technician Jobs Wyoming
General Duties
Climb safely up and down turbines up to 400 ft daily
Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical turbine faults
Perform preventive & corrective maintenance
Perform high voltage switching and Lock Out/Tag Out activities.
Update safety logs and records through online Maximo system
Run large vehicles (use forklifts and commercial vehicles)
Undertake transformer switching and substation upkeep
Entry Level Wind Technician Jobs Required Qualifications
Wind Technician I:
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to graduate the Deriva Energy Renewables Academy within 1 year
Wind Technician II:
High School Diploma/GED
External: 3+ years’ experience in wind plant; successfully complete JPMs in probation period
Internal: 1+ year on Deriva Energy and JPM completions
Entry Level Wind Technician Jobs Wyoming Qualifications
Wind/Renewable Energy AAS or certification
Experience with Suzlon S88 turbines
Familiarity with multiple turbine platforms
High-voltage, substation, and rigging experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Maximo EZ Max
vertExam TSL rescue slash forklift certified, CPR/AED trained
