What You’ll Do For Dallas Jobs 2025
Control and manage robotic systems to clean, inspect, and repair wind turbines
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on turbosets to maximize efficiency
Use diagnostic tools to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
Perform regular checks to maintain safety and performance standards
Maintain accurate records of all company work performed through the system and reporting protocols
Frequent travel, outdoors, and away, often for long periods of time and in inclement weather
Travelling Wind Technician Skills Needed
Familiarity with large renewable energy systems, preferably wind turbine service Experience
Effective mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Some knowledge about Medium voltage systems and national electrical codes
Must have Valid Driving License and able to travel very often
Certifications Required:
GWO Basic Safety Training (BST)
ART (Advanced Rescue Training) For GWO
OSHA 10 or 30
NFPA 70E
First Aid Certification
Nice to Have:
Global wind organizations basic technical training
GWO Sea Survival (in particular for offshore wind projects)
Wind Field Technician Salary Per hour
Competitive Pay: $20–$30/hour, Depending on Experience + Overtime
Per Diem: Up to $140/day towards meals and costs
