What You’ll Be Doing
Entry-Level Wind Technician Job Texas Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on G.E. energy wind turbines
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Conduct climbing inspections over 250 feet in elevation
Keep tools, equipment, safety, and cleanliness in good condition
Work an average 40 hours, with scheduled and emergency overtime when necessary
What You Need to Apply
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience in technical field (mechanical/electrical) OR technical degree
Able to lift up to 100 pounds and to climb 80m or more.
Weight capacity: ≤ 265 lbs (including gear)
Including a valid U.S. driver’s license and clean record
Must be able to pass Drug Test and Background Check
Authorization to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship)
Wind Turbine Technician Salary & Benefits
Base Pay: $28.67 – $48.58 per hour
Bonus: Up to 10%
