Responsibilities
Implement innovation strategies consistent with the SI business objectives
Assess new energy and grid system technologies and trends
Lead new idea generation, prototyping, testing and implementation
Lead innovation workshops and idea sessions.
Teaming with internal and external resources
Monitor KPIs and hand innovation performance reports over to management
Establish alliances with suppliers, research organizations and stakeholders
Qualifications For Engineer
Broad business understanding, entrepreneurship and tenacity
Knowledge in technical aspects of AC/DC transmission, offshore/onshore grid systems
Experience of innovation management in large electricity transmission projects.
Capacity to translate ideas into business cases endorsed by the business
Good written and oral communication skills
Degree qualified (BSc) in an Engineering, IET membership is desirable.
Great Britain Job Salary Per Month
Salary: £54,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)
